Three Questions for Today, May 24, 2025.

A new “POPE” for the world?
NEGATIVE!

For Roman Catholics around the world, YES, and for non-Catholic politicians seeking to curry favor with Catholic voters, but NOT for the rest of the world's religious and political leaders.

Question. Since the Lord Jesus Christ explicitly and categorically commanded: “AND CALL NO MAN YOUR FATHER ON THE EARTH: FOR ONE IS YOUR FATHER, EVEN HE WHO IS HEAVEN" (Matthew 23:9), with what justification does the supreme leader of the Roman Catholic Church, headquartered in the Vatican, call himself “POPE?” “POPE,” from the late Latin word “papa,” derived in turn from the Greek πάππας (“páppas”), meaning “FATHER.” Roman Catholics call him “the HOLY FATHER,” “Most Blessed FATHER,” or “Most Holy FATHER.” This is a public, blatant, and massive violation of the very clear commandment of “CHRIST,” the only legitimate “HEAD of the CHURCH.” Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:18

Question. Why does Pope Leo XIV NOT OBEY Christ’s command? Among some possible reasons:

Despite having studied in Catholic educational institutions from his childhood until obtaining a Doctorate in Canon Law in 1984, he never read Matthew 23:9.

Another possible reason. He may be so terrifically convinced that the Ecumenical Councils of the past and present have the divine authority to amend the original teachings of Christ and his personally chosen apostles, or simply to ignore them, substituting their own interpretations, that he unquestionably follows their decisions even though they patently contradict the original Sacred Writings of the New Testament Christ sealed with his own blood. Matthew 26:28

And still another. Raised in the bosom of Roman Catholicism and with his mind and spirit completely imbued since childhood with the traditions, dogmas and religious-social-political culture of said religion, he became a virtual SLAVE to IT to the point of not caring that its doctrines and practices are completely lacking in clear biblical support, a reality that the renowned Roman Catholic historian and theologian Hans Küng DID COME TO UNDERSTAND to a remarkable extent.
