Seven CHAINS of PROPHECIES and Visions in the Book of REVELATION that LEAD UP to the END of the MATERIAL UNIVERSE and MATERIAL TIME ITSELF. Thus, serving as irrefutable PROOF that NOT ALL the prophecies and visions of the Book of Revelation were fulfilled by the end of the YEAR 70 of the Common Era, nor by 476 CE, 1988, 2012 or any other date BEFORE the FOREVER-DISAPPEARANCE of VISIBLE, TEMPORAL REALMS.

The Seven Chains of Prophecies and Visions
IDENTIFIED
Document 1. Chains 1, 2, and 3
A key guideline of this Commentary for the understanding of the Book of Revelation is that these “Seven Chains of Prophecies and Visions” do not form a single consecutive chain on the Timeline of the Common Era, each one taking up where the previous one ends, but rather seven distinct chains. In their projections and applications, each chain starts at a particular place on the Timeline, may or may not be parallel to a certain extent with others, but does END, ALL of THEM, with specific events that culminate in the final, definitive, for-all-time, destruction of the material universe and material time itself.
Reading the Book of Revelation from Chapter 1 to the end of Chapter 22, as I have done scores of times, is not like traveling forward on a single highway, straight ahead all the time, without ever returning to travel the same stretch of road. Rather, it is like exploring an immense territory, varied to the highest degree, taking different routes, but not always starting at the same point, nor always seeing the same landscapes or
scenes, but,nevertheless, always arriving at the point and the hour when said “territory” is violently shaken and perishes in flames forever. “…the ELEMENTS shall be DISSOLVED with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 2 Peter 3:10-12
This type of exploration of the “Territory of the Universe and of Time,” with incursions into the “Celestial Regions” above, is made possible by the “different routes” traced by the Prophecies and Visions of the Book of Revelation, corroborated and expanded in some areas by prophecies given in other books of the Sacred Scriptures of the New Testament of Jesus Christ, and, in some cases, by data in the Old Testament.
A. The First Chain of Prophecies and Visions. The Sixth and Seventh Seals. Revelation 6:12-17; 8:1
1. The SIXTH SEAL definitely contains prophecies about the END of the MATERIAL UNIVERSE and TIME. The apostle John, while on the isle of Patmos, writes, in 95 CE, the following:
Revelation 6:12-17. 12 “And I saw when he opened the SIXTH SEAL, and there was a great EARTHQUAKE; and the SUN became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole MOON became as blood; 13 and the STARS of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree cast her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind. 14 And the HEAVEN WAS REMOVED as a scroll when it is rolled up; and every MOUNTAIN and ISLAND was moved out of their places. 15 And the KINGS of the earth, and the PRINCES, and the CHIEF CAPTAINS, and the RICH, and the STRONG, and every bondman and freeman, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, FALL ON US, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 for the GREAT DAY of their wrath is come; and who is able to stand?” Revelation 6:12-17
In the following Chapter 7 of the Book of Revelation, two more visions are portrayed in detail.
Revelation 7:1-8 contains the Vision of the Sealing of the 144,000 of the children of Israel.
Revelation 7:9-17 relates the Vision of a “great multitude… standing before the throne of God… arrayed in while robes… that come out of the great tribulation,” the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures present. A scene similar to the one in Revelation 4.
Logically, these two scenes take place before the very last moment of the “great day” of the “wrath of the Lamb” and of God the Father, when “the earth and the heaven” flee “away; and there was found no place for them.” Revelation 20:11. Many tremendous events quickly lead up to that “great day,” and more take place on that “great day” before the last second of material time is registered and “there is no more time.” Revelation 10:5-7. No exact sequence is published in the Book of Revelation.
We should also keep in mind that, while that “great day” may be 24 hours long, no more, it is also true that “one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8. Therefore, we may assume that “the day of the Lord…the day of God” that “comes as a thief in the night” (2 Peter 3:10 and 12; 1 Thessalonians 5:2) will be as long or short as he determines.
Now, after the two scenes in Revelation, Chapter 7, comes Revelation 8:1, and it contains the message of the Seventh Seal, which reads: “When the Lamb opened the SEVENTH SEAL, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.”
At this critical point in our studies, let us take due notice. Revelation 8:1 DOES NOT CONTAIN a link to the First Trumpet, but rather marks the end of time, with the "silence in heaven for about half an hour" being the last event revealed through the series of the Seven Seals.
Revelation 8:2 begins a NEW CHAIN of Prophecies and Visions with the words: “And I saw the seven angels that stand before God; and there were given unto them SEVEN TRUMPETS.”
The division of the Sacred Scriptures of the New Testament into chapters and verses was not done by God but by fallible human beings. Into “chapters” by Stephen Langton, Archbishop of Canterbury, around 1205 CE. Into “verses,” by Robert Estienne, a French printer, in 1551, for the New Testament, and in 1555, for the full Latin Bible.
Plainly, in a strictly logical division, Revelation 8:1 should have been Revelation 7:18, completing, thus, in that chapter the Chain of the Seven Seals.
B. The Second Chain of Prophecies and Visions is found in Revelation 10:5-7 and Revelation 11:15-19. In the mesmerizing dramatization of multiple events that take place, a “Mighty Angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun,” takes center stage and calls “out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring,” declaring that the END of TIME IS COMING and the COMPLETION of the “MYSTERY” (plan) of God for humanity and the material-physical world.
1. Revelation 10:5-7. According to the information imparted in Revelation 10:5-7, the angel standing on the sea and the land clearly and forcefully announces the END of TIME, setting it exactly for when the Seventh Trumpet sounds his Trumpet.
5 "And the angel, whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the earth, lifted up his hand to heaven. 6 And he swore by Him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are therein, and the earth and the things that are therein, and the sea and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer, 7 but that in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as He hath declared to His servants the prophets.” 21st Century King James Version.
Some versions translate “delay” instead of “time.” Either way, in verse 7, the affirmation, “…in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished,” leaves no doubt as to the meaning of “there should be time no longer.” The sounding of the Seventh Trumpet signifies the END of the “MYSTERY,” that is, the PLAN of God for the material, physical universe and humanity’s occupation of earth, and that there will “be time no longer.”
2. Revelation 11:15-19. In this text, several great events are projected and dramatized. The Kingdom is glorified. Judgement is executed on the nations and the dead. The time comes to reward God’s followers and destroy those who destroy the earth. The temple of God in heaven is opened. Catastrophic events on planet Earth take place. The text says:
17 “And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, and they said, The kingdom of the world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for ever and ever. …18 And the nations were wroth, and thy wrath came, and the TIME of the dead to be judged, and the TIME to give their reward to your servants
the prophets, and to the saints, and to them that fear your name, the small and the great; and to destroy them that destroy the earth. 19 And there was opened the temple of God that is in heaven; and there was seen in his temple the ark of his covenant; and there followed lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.”
Dear Reader, did you observe how the element of “TIME” figures in the text? “…the TIME of the dead to be judged, and the TIME to give their reward to your servants… to destroy them that destroy the earth.” Indeed, when the Seventh Angel sounds his trumpet, “the TIME” for all earthly entities, powers, and parameters comes to complete fruition and material time ENDS FOREVER.
Unquestionably, the statements that are made and the events that occur at the sounding of the Seventh Trumpet mark the definitive END of TIME and of the MATERIAL UNIVERSE, that is, the consummation of the "mystery of God." Therefore, for a second time, the prophecies and visions of the Book of Revelation transport us to the END of the days of humanity on earth, the entire material universe, and material time itself.
C. The Third Chain of Prophecies and Visions is found in Revelation 14:14-20.
1. The earth is reaped twice, and not just once. The entire earth is reaped and not just a part, for example, Palestine, of the time of earthly Israel and the Roman Empire.
2. First the RIGHTEOUS are reaped. Immediately the “clusters” of the UNRIGHTOUS are harvested and trampled in “the winepress outside the city.” These events occur one after the other, and not the first, then the second more than a thousand years later.
Following is the text of Revelation 14:14-20.
14 “And I looked, and behold, a white cloud; and upon the cloud sat one like unto the Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came
out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, “Thrust in your sickle and reap; for the TIME HAS COME for you to reap, for the harvest of the earth is RIPE” 16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. 17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in Heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are FULLY RIPE.” 19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great wine press of the wrath of God. 20 And the wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood came out of the wine press, even unto the horse bridles, for the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.”
This text surely transports us once more, for a third time, to the END of the human race on planet Earth and the END of TIME ITSELF. Let us consider.
An angel comes out of the temple of God the Father with a message for the “Son of Man,” Jesus Christ: “THE TIME HAS COME FOR YOU TO REAP.” Prior to this moment, Jesus did not know “THE TIME” for his return on “a white cloud” to reap the earth twice, first the righteous, then the unrighteous. So said Jesus himself during his earthly ministry. “But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but ONLY the FATHER.” Mark 13:32. The “TIME… TO REAP” is the time he “will appear a SECOND TIME, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.” Hebrews 9:28. After this “SECOND TIME" to reap the righteous, followed immediately by that of the unrighteous, there absolutely will never be a “third time.” There will be “no more time.”
Note also the statements “for the harvest of the earth is RIPE,” and, in the case of the unrighteous, “her grapes are FULLY RIPE.” They are ripe, and they will be picked! Harvested! By inference, there will be NO more growing of "good wheat” and “sour grapes” on planet Earth. There will be no more harvesting of the good and the bad. For there will be “no more time.”
By the way, the Great Teacher, Jesus of Nazareth, made that STATEMENT, about not knowing the TIME of his Second Coming, to his apostles, on the Mount of Olives outside Jerusalem, some 66 years BEFORE the apostle John received, on the island of Patmos in 95 CE, this vision on “Reaping the Earth,” wherein an angel comes out of the temple of God the Father in heaven to inform Jesus that “THE TIME HAS COME FOR YOU TO REAP,” thus confirming Jesus’ statement that he did not know “the TIME.” This highly impressive harmony of testimony and revelation in markedly different timeframes and settings is one of the powerful reasons for believing in the divine inspiration of their authors. Do you believe them? To really and truly believe is to act in accordance with that belief.
